Michael Zinganel works as an architecture theorist, cultural historian, artist and curator in Vienna on issues like Social Housing, Crime and the City, Mass Tourism and Migration. He taught at various universities and academies, e.g. at the postgraduate academy of Bauhaus Dessau Foundation an TU Graz and Vienna . 2012 he co-founded the independent research institute Tracing Spaces, since 2014 he is research associate at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Most recently he produced and co-edited Holiday after the Fall – Seaside Architecture and Urbanism in Bulgaria and Croatia (with Elke Beyer and Anke Hagemann) (Berlin: jovis 2013).
